Pin 3 of the crank engine speed sensor is shown as going to a ground, and the resistance measurement I took shows that it very likely does. I can see no external ground wire from the head. With the ECM end still hooked up the cable to the sensor gives: Sensor pin 1 or 2 to 3 is more than 6 Megohms In which case I should not have 2.4V on it, and almost no resistance toĭoes anyone have a pinout of the connector, or values of the voltages / resistance that should be on the pins?Īny help would be much appreciated, this is turing into one of the most frustrating faults I have had on this car! I believe one of the crank sensor plug pins should be a ground? Plug (wiring harness) pin to ground voltage readings (key on) are: Plug / (wiring harness) pin to ground readings (key off) are : This afternoon I dug the multi meter out and checked a few things, and suspect I have an ECU issue of wiring problem:Ĭam Sensor: (I think these readings seem ok?) Group 51 is not available and the new crank sensor still shows no output of engine speed while cranking.
